Darkslinger's 52 Week Challenge - 2020

When I first saw it, I was trying to work out actually what it was.
Its obvious now of course. Nice use of Depth of field, Bill.

Fab idea did you get it whilst unloading the dishwasher... I love it as a B&W image not sure colour would have worked so well.

I'm liking the idea and the lighting. I would like a bit more dof though.

+1 for more DoF, but that's just me (and Dominic).

Great idea and great execution! I like the lighting and the B&W conversion!

As others have said very abstract, clever idea

Excellent idea, Bill, with an abstract result. I did something similar for a 52 theme a few years ago and it's great fun to get close-up with these tiny details. I think I would have liked a bit more DOF but the idea and the processing are spot on

Like the Discarded image, great textures and lighting and well composed, it really suits the mono pp.

Very moody, and the processing suits the idea that it has been discarded

Great processing, brings out the textures! And great light and setup!

I really like this shot - captures the theme beautifully, and the lighting and processing really suit the subject.

Great shot and processing, with good contrast but keeping the detail and being able to see inside the cup

Nice lighting on the cup... If you had the time would love to see a tighter shot, think some of the textures and shades would be really abstract

Love the moody feel to this shot, thank god for cabs ;-)

You've got a good gritty look there. A simple solitary cup, but describes the theme well.

As others have said very tranquil Bill!

I really like that.
Just the right amount of smoothing on the water. The juxtaposition of the natural and man-made world. The lead in from the top corner and even some drama in the sky. Excellent

Discarded - as other have said well lit and the lprocessing suits it,
Snappers choice - I agree i does look very tranquil.

Snappers choice is a great image, lovely use of long exposure and the composition is spot on :)

Nice scenic shot, I like the mountains in the background!
