Thanks SimonGreat pics… i think it works well and the reflections caused by the wet weather add to it.
Thanks Paul, yeah, I know it's a little bit out there...Good idea, and a bit different.
Isn't it always the way? You post something and the next challenge is the one that it would fit best inAgree works very well. You should have kept one for this week.
LOL, made me laugh, yeah, it's not for everyoneWell done for the genre. I don’t really get it but that’s not your fault![]()
Thanks Kell, for sure but that just means I get to go out and wander the streets again.Chosen shot is great. And would have fitted perfectly for this week's theme too.
Didn't even see that there,,,now I can't not see it there...Like the shot you chose, think the main subjects being a bit clearer works and like the lines on the canopy.
Not sure about the headless model on the RHS 4th? shot![]()
Yeah, I liked that one myself, it has some layers that some of the others don'tInteresting use of ICM. Some of these I like, some I don't, and therein lies the joy of art and diversity of taste.
The umbrellas in the last one create a "pop" that lifts the image, for me the best one.
Thanks Allan!I really like them, after watching the video you have definitely nailed it.

Thanks Paul, it was a good photo walk, many, many more pics than I posted here...A great set, and I think you made the right choice.
Thanks Dave, I got lucky with the woman coming through the door at the end of the shot.Nice set with the last floating my boat![]()
Thanks Keith.Good set Bill and another vote for your chosen shot - well planned![]()
Thanks Allan, Vancouver is the wild, wild, wet, for sure.Love the processing of the first, really suits the dull wet day.
Thanks Wayne, I really appreciate the kind words.Lovely Shots there Bill, My kind of Pictures!
The quays shot is magic.
And the padlocks
And you have caught the pedestrian beautifully!
Thanks Paul!A great set!
Thanks Dave, I was planning to go out to the quay anyways. "I love it when a plan comes together"Three fab shots Bill. 'Quay' was my backup plan if the 'A Minor Key' didn't come off![]()
You know...I had to look closely at the shot to see what you were talking about. I didn't even realize that there was a plaque there. I'll have to take a look the next time that I go.Good set there Bill, especially the quay shot, that was also on my list but the only problem was there are no quays anywhere near us.
IIRC we have seen a wider shot of the padlocks before, just being curious is that a memorial in the foreground of the first shot
Thanks Simon!Nice shots Bill. All worthy of the theme.
The first time that I said the word out loud, I pronounced it "kway" and everyone laughed...I do like the Quay Homonym. And the shot.

Gorgeous images there Bill, they are beautiful!Week #47 Abstract
When I saw the theme I thought of a shot that I took of bamboo using ICM. When I got it into LR and played with it a bit, it made me think of sand dunes. So...here you go;

All of these are macro shots of moss or tall grass stalks. Processed in LR and then rotated to a landscape aspect.
