Taking a look at darkroom. Anyone else using it and any thoughts? Like the fact it uses photos library so no having to import like you do with lightroom.

What is the issue with importing to Lightroom? You can do this at the same time as you upload the images so no extra process and LR will also make a back up at the same time if you wish.

Because I take quite a few pics on my phone which goes to photos. So I would need to export them to LR and process. With my cameras I would import to LR and then export them to photos. I do like LR and have it till the end of year, but just loading to photos just seems simpler.

What is this "darkroom"? (by which I mean I presume it's not an actual darkroom nor the company "darkroom" who seem to support even photographers)

Thanks Kevin. It looks a useful app for phone photography, at a good price point for real enthusiasts of that genre. I'm not sure it's an Aperture-replacement though, butI'd give it a go if I had a use-case for it.

I use darkroom occasionally.. the best raw processor bar none but as l tend to take the path of least resistance l usually revert to using the more user friendly interface of DXO photolab.. but it is worth the effort on those photos that deserve perhaps a little more TLC.. lots of stuff on YouTube
