Damn. Lost a bid for a new lens by £1 because I forgot to check.

A 135mm canon lens. Ended up going for £21. I put in a bid of £20, expecting it to go way over and up to £100 or more
 
You lost an auction...not a bid :p

Bad luck though.
 
You know what, I'm an e-commerce manager and sell a lot in eBay.... My mind went blank and forgot the correct name :lol:

Whiskey is my tipple. Anyway, despite pulling my back earlier, I'm off to practice some more photography, going to miss pool tonight as I can't see me getting down to the table properly.
 
Finally back home. Got a bit of practice in whilst it was light, then some more shots just after sunset. Back is in pieces. Laid with dog on my lap and a large whiskey in hand
 
Sorry, I meant to say I wasn't expecting to win as I'm skint this month, so tried a cheeky low bid. Was surprised it went for just £21. So now I'm constantly looking for other bargain lenses
 
probably the other bidder had put a £100 snipe on it - if you'd bid £30 , you'd still have lost to a £31 auto bid

Never mind, onwards and upward (the best bet for getting a bargain btw is to look for misspelled items, items in the wrong category, and those with stupid finish times)

That is so right.... unfortunately now there are things like fat fingers that help find stuff mis listed... When I played loads of golf, all auctions from me ended 9pm sunday night, as euro tour had finished, usa tour, relling in but a couple of hours left, target customers had a beer but not p***ed., shipped Monday am.
