Hi Guys,

Hope you all had a good christmas.

I had Damien Lovegrove's book " the complete guide to professional wedding photography" and I am now considering getting Mark Cleghorn's "Wedding photography - the complete guide"

Have any of you got experience of these 2 books.

Is Mark's book going to tell me anything Damien's didn't

Thank you and Happy new year.

Gary

Hi Gary, I've read both and much preferred Cleghorn's offering, would definitely recommend that you pick it up, it contains much less ego and much more substance IMHO.

I like his book to (MC's).

His online training is also very good.

In response to your PM, definitely a good book for up-and-coming professional like yourself, I think you will take a lot from it.

Plenty of reviews on Amazon if you want other's opinions though.

His (MC) seminars are good too. He never stops talking, loads of content right up to the last second. Books are better bought online though... was considering buying at his seminar but a quick check on my phone of Amazon revealed prices even better than 'show' prices.

I only read Mark's book so cant comment the other one. All I would say is if you just start wedding business, Mark's book is quite comprehensive from gear selection to post production. I picked up for £19.99 and never regret doing so. Yes get it! I am a leeds wedding photographer and feel free to see my wedding work: link here
