I have a daft question again ...

I may want to use an old film camera, a Ricoh KR10 Super in the studio. It uses X Synchro terminal as the triggering for the flash. From memory this is the basic, trigger the flash as soon as the shutter is open mode. But will it be ok to use this with Lencarta or godox triggers?

TIA.

Yes.
There were 3 separate modes, back in the day, many cameras had just the X, which was designed specifically for electronic flash.
The other modes (or settings) were
FP - for using long burn flashbulbs with focal plane shutters
M - for using normal flashbulbs with focal plane shutters
