Dabs and Canon cashback

[Hell on earth]

I've been looking at buying a Canon pixma mg7150 printer
But want to get it by paypal with their 14 day pay later
So on ebay Dabs have it for £140, same as their site and about the same at other vendors

Before clicking the buy button I messaged them just to make sure I can claim the cashback
NO comes back the answer only if I buy from their site

Bit strange innit ?, it's Canon doing the cashback so are the ones on ebay gray imports ?
