d90 vs 550d

I had a privilege to use nikon d90 and canon 550d and as far as IQ is concerned canon is much better.
What do you think
 
I thought about this for weeks. I ended up with the D90. Felt much stronger and better built. Less MP but still produces good photos.

Exactly the same for me. My brother has the 550, it's a nice camera but for me the build quality and feel of it was way below my D90.
 
I have a D300s which has got the same sensor as the D90 and although not as many pixels as the 550 the images that you can get out of it are amazing. As mentioned before the body of the D90 is the better one so unless you want the camera for video I would go with the D90
