Wanting to upgrade asap from my D60; going by past slr upgrade releases- will the D90 drop in price at all, and how soon after next week when the D7K is released?!?!!

I doubt it'll drop by much,if anything at all.The D7000 will be priced close to rrp for the first few months, giving retailers plenty of time to clear stocks of the D90

The stock is going to run out on the D90 at some point so I would be surpised if the D90 drops.

Stock is hard to get hold of at the moment as well.

Thanks. Will retailers try and offload their 'now-old model' D90's though? (Thus be more likely to drop price a little)
 
Prices may even rise, they certainly did for a while on the D40 after it was discontinued.

No,as Stuart says, stock of the D90 will run out before the price of the D7000 softens, so I'd doubt there'll be any savings to be had.
 
i have noticed the price of used D90's is starting to fall as the market becomes over loaded with people selling to buy the D7000.

yeah I missed that by several hours- althought there was only 5 at that price!!!


Am watching several on ebay currently, but are still very popular by all accounts...
