That's a great price - I wouldn't mind a grip but don't want to spend a fortune on one as not sure how often I'd use it. But I don't want to buy something really cheap that stops working after a few weeks either. Does it work ok with non-Nikon batteries?

Yeah it does, I have a Nikon battery and a non-nikon battery in mine and its superb. I even read some place that parts of the non-nikon grip are actually better made than the Nikon one. Not sure how true that is it was just what I read somewhere (might have been in this forum somewhere)

If you search for the linkdelight grip you might find something

But all I know is I have one of the LinkDelight models and its very well made and works flawlessly - what else do you need

As for not sure if you want one I was exactly the same and all I can say is GET ONE. They make the camera much better to hold with two batteries (again I got a non-nikon one) the batteries last AGES and as a plus it makes your camera look much cooler :naughty:

+1 for the linkdelight battery grips.

Have had one for several months and absolute love it. It stays constantly on the camera and has worked perfectly.

Buy one and I'm sure you'll not do without it. Even if you do not like it, you will be able to get your money back by reselling.

even cheaper now !!!

Really wish I hadn't seen that, trying to save money at the moment to fund a D7000 but at this price I'm finding it hard to resist! If I only had it for a year or less do you think its worth getting?

Thanks

Russ

Ordered the last one :) does anyone know what courier they use for delivery?

Thread Update !!!!

I oredered the genuine Nikon grip for £70 but when it arrived it was broken, I returned it and had to settle for a refund as they had sold out.
I then ordered one of the ones that "TheCrewDesigns" recommended in his thread for £24, this took a couple of weeks to arrive due to the fact it was from China, anyhow when it did arrive I couldn't tell the difference between that one and the gen Nikon grip, they're either made in the same factory or its one hell of a good copy.

Yeah they are good aren't they

But stick a Nikon badge on and charge triple the price and you have a Nikon one  but joking aside they probably are from the same factory

Had mine for ages now and its never let me down and its a pleasure to use
