Hi Everyone,

Looking for a bit of advice on a grip for the D90

Which is the best third party grip for the D90?

Where is the best & reliable place to purchase third party grips?

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.

Take care,

Keith

Have used the Meike grip with great success.

I can recommend the Meike too, mine's for sale if you decide to go for one, It's only been on the camera to test so completely as new, I found it made the whole thing to heavy for me, especially with my 70-300 which I use a lot. It's fine with a small zoom or a prime, i.e when I first put it on I had my 35mm on and it was great, but I just don't use it enough.

I have seen Meike grips mentioned before.

Where would be the best place to get one?

I got mine from ebay for £8 used.
There aint a mark on it so I may have been lucky.

Would appreciate a few more opinions and links to safe & reliable places people have bought there grips from.

Thanks in advance.

Take care,

Keith

Faced with this dilemma I bought a used Nikon grip from MPB (whom I have used a fair few times). It wasn't £8 but it was much cheaper then new and arrived in a few days, in its original box, perfect condition. When I come to upgrade it will still have some value to sell on too.

Yup have been keeping an eye on MPB

They had one on there the other day but when I went back it had gone, you snooze you loose as they say

Hi Keith,
If I can't interest you in my Meike, my local camera shop has a genuine, boxed Nikon MBD80 for sale at £50.00. I can let you have the details for you to contact them if you wish.

Hi Ken,

Thank's for the offer of assistance

I managed to pick up a MB-D80 for £30 just the other day

Take care,

Keith
