I don't know about it stopping Tamron working as I only have Nikon and Sigma lenses and it stopped all my Sigmas that have HSM AF the non motorised lenses still work fine.

have the Tamron 90 mm macro and that works ok with the nikonD810 new firmware

I noticed today Nikon released C:Ver.1.14. Don't waste your time as it didn't change the auto focus issue for Sigma lens.

TBH I doubt any future update will either, it's not in their interest ... Sigma will be the ones to address any issues. :)

The only way you will get older Sigma AF lenses like the 150-500 to work on a D810 with V1.13 or 1.14 firmware is to send the lens(es) back to Sigma who will then install new firmware allowing them to work at £41 per lens or you could just leave V1.12 firmware on the D810 and have no issues at all.
