D80 SB 600 Wireless control

Hi sorry if this has already been asked, (its late i need my bed :baby:quicker to ask and be redirected, I know its a lazy thing) I have a D80 interested in buying a SB600 but need to know if it will work remotely from the D80 without any extra kit. or will it be limited to hotshoe mounting unless i buy a commander of get the SB800. Thanks in advance

Yes it will you will be able to use commander mode on the D80 and fire it wirelessly cheers

Or if you want more distance and play with wireless flash look into gettinf some radio triggers

Yes it will work fine as long as the distance is not too far, really easy to setup too.
