D80 Problems

Just took my D80 out of the car into warm house and everything misted up. I took the lens off and the eye cup off and left them for 15 mins for the temp to equal out and then cleaned everything with my micro fibre cloth. No the view through the viewfinder is all misted up and this is showing on the pictures. i have checked everything i can and can not see where this may be coming from. I have checked the lens and tried another, i have cleaned the eye piece and the mirror and the sensor and can not think of anything else, do any of you have any suggestions?

Have you damaged the mirror ? - its very delicate and should only be cleaned with a blower and never touched.
