No
Received my D750 back after an insurance repair from being dropped and frankly hadn't got round to using it until this week and either I am losing it or the camera is seriously faulty!

Essentially if I change to A I can use the front dial to move aperture as you would expect however the back dial changes the shutter and iso simultaneously (and auto ISO is switched off) if I am in S mode the opposite occurs (again with no auto iso set)?

I dont profess to be in anyway competent in the use of the camera but I know after owning for a year or more that something isnt right here? Why would shutter speed be changeable when in A and Aperture when in and why on earth is the ISO changing when I have auto ISO off? Have I dont something ultra stupid or is it possible the camera is very broken???

The first thing I would do is to go through
and revise the menus and set ups! GL!

Menu / spanner / reset user settings

Menu / camera icon / reset photo shooting menu

Menu / Pencil / reset custom settings (this will do it)

Thank you so much - this has done it - I hate to ask though but any idea how it would have got into this 'mode' and more importantly is it possible it will go back to it again? Just not sure if I need to flag it with Ins company or fixation or whether it is now fixed?

They couldve changed things when they were testing, it wont go back into that mode again. Dont worry about it, all sorted now. They are just manual settings a user can change according to shooting preferences.

Sounds like it had easy ISO set. Easy ISO allows the front or rear dial to alter ISO rather than press and hold the ISO button and turn a front/rear dial. That means in Aperture Priority the front dial changes aperture and the rear dial changes the ISO value, and by changing the ISO value the shutter speed chosen by the camera will automatically change to maintain the exposure (remember how the exposure triangle works). In shutter priority the front dial changes ISO and rear dial changes the shutter speed, the camera changes the aperture value to maintain the exposure.

From the manual:
