Anyone owned both the above, is there any significant difference in noise at high iso settings. between the two. Looking for comments from experience rather than write ups.

I've come close - my mate used to shoot with two D7100 cameras while I had two D7200s - when he 2nd shot for me I'd tell him what ISO to shoot at (the same as me) and I never really noticed any difference at all

There were other minor differences which had me buy the D7200 rather than the then cheaper D7100, but I'd have been happy with either

loved the D7000 hated the D7100, couldn't wait to get rid of it, just seemed to work hard to produce a good photo, and love my D7200 great photos from this.

had the 7000 then 7100 then 7200 and there is a good difference between each up grade the 7200 was great
now I've got the d500 now thats another story

thanks Dave Mark and holty. I have a 7100 and had to make up my mind on a mint d7200 that was offered to me. TOOK THE PLUNGE and bought it
