Hi all.
I have a D7000, and want some advice on how best to use NR on high iso images.
I use LR 3, and have Elements 10.
Could anyone advise on the best processing/workflow for these types of image please?
What sort of settings for example in Lightroom, or would it be better to get a plugin or other programme? (Some-one mentioned Noise Ninja, or Topaz?)
I shoot everything in RAW.
Thanks in advance,
Gary.

Have you an example. Lightroom 3 should be able to sort it. I have shot 1600 iso at gigs and usually can reduce the noise without plug-ins.
I use CS6 and ACR as I find Lightroom 4 a bit clunky but they are the same as far as the software.
I'm waiting for Elements 10 to arrive so will have a look at Camera Raw and see how it compares. Will see if it does what it says it does in the blurb and let you know.

Thanks for the reply Pete.
Sorry, I didn't really explain myself very well.
I am after advice on much higher ISO than that, sort of 6,400 +
I don't have any real examples, it's more advice on the workflow used by folks on here, and where and at what stage in the workflow NR gets applied, and if a plugin/standalone (eg.Topaz de-noise) does a better job at the very high ISO.

I use noiseware. They do a free version that is fully functional, but reduces file size and strips exif data. You also have to drag images into it, but worth trying. If you like it, the paid-for version plugs into your normal filter store and isn't madly expensive.
