Hi all,

I have been monitoring the D7000 for quite a while. I've noticed it drop over the past month to around £650 for the body only at Pixmania and it was slightly under that at Amazon but not anymore.

I've noticed a few UK sellers on e-bay selling the D7000 new which includes a 3 year warranty for about £580-£600. What is the catch here? How would I know if they are selling a grey import?

On ebay just look at the sellers location, otherwise its a case of check the about, they will usually say there.

If you absolutely have to get a UK one then check camerapricebuster as they strive to keep to UK sites, if you're okay with imports you can get one from Panamoz (here - £540.55 after 5% bank transfer discount.

I paid 719 (??) for my d7000 body only, with a nikon golla bag and 8gb nikon memory card. It was pricey but it was the only place that accepted my credit rating for finance, which the interest isnt tooooooo bad on...:eek:

I probably should have waited and saved, but I wanted it now. Never learnt the patience and wait thing.
 
Bought my first for £850 from Mifsuds. My second one was from procamerashop for about £560

Jessops has a better price than Wex looking at this - £634... but by the look of it the price is a bit unsteady today, if you click through it's gone up a few quid since this morning.

This site also has a price alert facility so you don't have to monitor it. Just register and name your ideal price and they will email you when the price is met. Saves me shed loads of time I used to spend checking stuff almost daily when I was after something specific... I got a lens a tad cheaper than I was expecting as it caught one of those quick Amazon bargains that come and go...
