Yep, it sees the JPEG Ok Ade because the picture information is embedded in the JPEG at capture. But it has no effect at all shooting in RAW, the picture styles don't show in a RAW file.![]()
Sorry I think I must have misunderstood the point being made Alison.I thought Yvonne was saying that if you convert a Raw to B&W in camera,then bridge does not recognise the resulting jpeg image.It does, but i`m probably confused.........
No, bridge/LR etc don't see stuff like the B&W option if you shoot in RAW, but I still like to use the picture control occasionally whilst raw shooting, because the effect it has on the embedded jpg that then shows on the LCD can give you a good idea of what you can get from processing later. Both programs should 'see' it all fine if you have shot in jpg or converted in camera of course.
