D700 now £1249 in pc world

Got excited by this but looked on line and they don't seem to even stock it :-(
 
HDewcameras are the best bargain I can find £1,450 with 3 year warrantee, I ordered one, good service!
 
I haven't looked online, but when I was in Brentford store earlier they had them on the shelves.

As stated above I've not looked on website, but that was what they're on shelves for in brentford
 
Got to thank boyfalldown.....I thought it was worth a quick trip down to my local(ish) Currys branch.

They didn't have one but I asked them to check stock in other local branches and Brighton store came up trumps!

Went straight there it hasn't even been out of the box. Very pleased and when he was ringing through he said I also qualify for a free 16gb SD card - no good in the D700 of course but grabbed it all the same.

Home now and have some playing to do..........

Same here, went to my local branch at Friern Barnet who didn't have them, but a very helpful lady checked stock and they had them over in Enfield. She called them, reserved the one they had left for me and I drove over, collected and paid, one shiny new D700 to add to the one I have :D Very happy bunny and very impressed with the staff at both branches who were hugely helpful and friendly. :thumbs:

Went to Currys / PCWorld in Sheffield Meadowhall, none in stock :'(, but helpful staff found me one at Chesterfield :), phoned and reserved, went over to collect and it was still sealed in box, £1249 lighter now.:D

They told me there was none showing left in any stores in the Yorkshire area.

i've seen in meadowhall about 3 weeks ago at that price. but holding (well SAVING) for D800 :lol:
 
well,yes,I would...if I need a new camera,I will think about to buy that D700 for £1249 from pc world....but there is no that need for me now...lol...
 
Saw one available on display at the PC world in Bath! just need £1249 :(
