d700 now £1,499 at PC world

Theres no stock anywhere sadly. I went in 3 weeks ago to see if I could get one and they searched the entire north of the country and had nothing. They can't be ordered in either -.-

had at least one on the shelves in West London this afternoon. They didn't look very hard for you

The stock can't be searched for when you live in the north of the country from sources in the south. Wasn't a matter of searching, its just they cannot order anymore in as they are discontinued and all potential customers in the north of england can't get one regardless unless they go on a trip to london.
 
I got one of these. Friend is staff got an extra 10% of as well. :D

Only boxed stock available in London now from there concession inside Harrods.

Plenty of display last one stock availble everywere else.

P.S This is not true they can transfer stock from any of there shops. They just don't want to because it's a clearence line.

They couldn't see the stock levels of any southern stores as they don't share the same stocking warehouse. They'd have to ring each one of them and check and they'd never do that due to the amount of time it would take.

Not true fella they can see the stock in all stores including airport stores etc via their internal computer system it's called eclipse my mate who works there is sitting right beside me.

For example I am in N.I as is my mate yet I can tell you that Harrods have 8 in stock and that PCWorld and the Currys store in Leeds have 1 each in stock.

P.S for anyone looking for one of these most of what is left is display stock. They can offer up to an extra 20% discount if it's the last one.

Well they couldn't do that from the clough road store in hull, nor does the website allow me to go that far aware when searching myself.
 
yeah anything at £xxx.97 is clearance on the DSGI systems
they can transfer from anywhere, and the store would send them. however, the receiving store might be selling at a loss (from their point of view). therefore it would impact their net figures. esp if you don't buy any warranty, accessories or additional kit
therefore it's not always in the interest of the store (financially) to bring in clearance kit.

Must have just got a lazy member of staff or they didnlt want to effect there margin by getting it in for you.
