I gotta say. i have a very good D60 as a 'chuck in the car and shoot' . But I am used to the heft of a Canon and batt grip, how do i hold the Nikon for best stability ? I was told with a lite cam its arms and elbows shoved into the body . and hold the breath :|. I still shake with a lite cam this way . any tips guys?:)

support the lens with one hand and the body with the other. Keep your breathing natural and don't tense up when you press the shutter. The only reason you get steadier shots with a larger/heavier body is that the mass of it damps the vibrations from your body.

Oh, and lay off the caffeine/booze the night before/ventolin if you're asthmatic!

Just put a huge lens on it :)

The D60 is a superb little camera, the one I reach for most nowadays - usual handholding rules apply.

You could put a grip on, but tbh that seems to defeat the point off this lovely little "P&S" on steroids :)
