Yes
What is the maximum sync speed you can get with these two off camera? And what triggers would I need to achieve it, pref wireless

Thanks in advance

1/200th is the sync speed and say get Skyport wireless triggers if you want go radio slaves that work. If not eBay slaves....

My question is if you have the flash and the camera why did you not just put the flash on the camera and see what the shutter speed would go up to???? Works on my D70s...1/500th (which is the sync speed)

Not tried it on the camera yet, only arrived today

Thanks for the advice, who sells Skyport's? Or shall I just google it?

im assuming, that once you add a cable the sync speed drops:shrug:

Nope the sync speed stays the same ;)

I can fire my flashes with my Skyports at 1/500th on camera or off camera.

Look in my Review a bit down the page in the Lighting section, it has loads of links in there about Skyports and where to get them from

well thats good to know, thanks cherryrig

you should be able to fire them at a faster sync than that off camera. i can sync at upto 1/1250th using my D70s and p-dubs

D70s sync is 1/500th so your not using it at it's fastest speed!

yea, but it uses an electronic shutter, so you can push the sync speed up to about 1/1000th or maybe even faster depending on the duration of you flashes and the reaction speed or the skyports.
there's an article on strobist about this: strobist article

Yea I've seen that article already.

Sorry looked at the numbers again and didn't see the 1 in the 1/1250

Don't see the point of going over the flash sync speed anyway. Yea less light and stuff but just up the f number. Then if it's too bright and your flashes can't be seen/used don't use them.
