Its a Honda Civic . It was new 2 years ago, if people were scared of depreciation no body would buy a new car. All cars depreciate but my Honda hold its value alot better than most.

You should see some of the crap cars I have had, still have and wasted money on.......![]()
My car's gone up in value since I bought it
I've never had that before

Been there done thatThe Honda was the first time I went new, well worth it the deisel engine is fantastic.
How? full tank of petrol![]()
Okay, I might be able to stretch to a D700 as I was planning on getting some fast glass too with the D300.
Okay, if I went full frame, I know I would have to sell my 10-20, but could I keep my 50-150 Sigma? I really don't want to get rid of it as I love it.
Nope. Car payments £280 over 5 years. No point in saving at the minute with poor interest rates. My solution suites me.![]()
Nope, because I didn't buy new

was meant to go and collect a new D300 today,
should i buy it or wait for the new D400.
D300 = £1049.00 through a nikon dealer.

Yep, I would have to sell two lenses to get the 700,two lenses that I rather like.Difficult decision to make...........:bang:
That's what I paid for mine, 14 months ago![]()
Whatever happened to saving up until you had enough to buy something outright?
How do you think the world go into this financial mess, the media told everyone they were going to lose their jobs so everybody stopped spending and started saving so the government dropped the interest rates so it's not worth saving to make everybody spend again :bonk:
Sorry mate, disagree, people lived way beyond thier means, using thier houses as cashpoints to draw imaginitive money that they did not have.Don`t blame the banks, media nor anybody else, the big time Charlies got caught with thier pants down.Serves `em right...........![]()
Surely it must be someone-else's fault?
Just wait 'til this quantitative easing causes the pound to go the way the mark did in 1924![]()
Gold, the oldest currency and the best..............![]()
Aye, it appears it is mine and people like me who did not overspend, did not finance everything on bullsh credit terms or owe monies left right and centre. It must be my fault because i`m getting nailed to the bloody floor on my savings interest.........Sorry, I just swore by mentioning saving rather than spending, silly me.

Me too that's what i paid for my D300, I,m sure the D700 was less than £1500 in some places at the beginning of the year, which is gutting really as i'm also sure there were places doing it 10 months interest free credit :bang: i guess i'm just going to have to wear it unless something drastic happens between now and July/August time.
