D40 Raw

Got my new D40 today and sadly found no plug-in for CS2 to read the RAW files. Tried the Canon software - but need a spare weekend to process a number of images as well as programme windows in japanese pop up - ended up converting to .dmg and then CS2 would open them. Going to be interesting to see how the noise levels match up with my 350D.

Going to collect it, a puncture on the Volvo D5 was an expensive addition to the day as it needed a new tyre!

Please please change D40 in your post to 40D it makes it look like you have gone to the "dark side".

Raw convertor 4.2 only works with CS3

However, lightroom 1.2 works with 40D raw files. I tend to use that for the majority of my images.

I`ve got to say that signing up to a forum full of photographers to try and drum up buisness as a photographer seems like a bad idea, now signing up to a wedding based forum......
