If you want a "do it all" bag, then look at the LowePro Slingshot 102AW.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lowepro-SlingShot-102AW-Photo-Sling/dp/B003656Q7C

My D3100 fits in there nicely with 18-55 attached and with my 35mm prime lens and SB400 flash also in the main compartment. Plenty of space in the top pocket for chargers/batteries etc and loads of space for other bits and bobs too.

I keep everything in this bag when its at home. If i just want to take the camera out on its own, i've got a small crumpler bag.....

Thanks Zarch but just got rid of my lowpro slingshot just didnt like it at all .....want somethink more or a bag with stap not to big ....kev

Thanks Ian just what I'm looking for spot on ....bit pricey though any good deals any were .....thanks kev

Check out ebay, there are a few of the older models on there - muffin tops & ben's pizza, for less than £30

a lot of these "messengery" style bags don't have much protection so why not get a normal non camera bag for a fraction of the money and stick some bubble wrap in it.

I went out looking for a camera bag for my D7000 and my wife ended up finding one in a french connection oulet shop for about a tenner - I know it sounds a tad gay to have a fcuk bag - but it spot on size, doesn't say I've got a lot of camera gear worth stealing and with some bubble wrap offers ample protection.

My Crumpler has loads of padding in it, plus the camera is right in your hand when you open the bag, no need to start unwrapping it from bubblewrap every time.
