D300 Wireless shutter release.

Hi Guys,

I picked up a pair of calumet wireless triggers yesterday with a set of lights, I'm trying to get them to work as a shutter release as they can do apparently, however this doesn't seem to be working on the D300, but is for the flash.

Do I need to alter any settings on the camera ?

I've been through the camera settings, but can't see anything.

I have a cheapo version from ebay that works fine (30ukp).

For camera to flash, the trigger goes in the flash bit and the flash on the receiver.

For the opposite, remote taking of picture for example, there should be some supplied cables? One goes from the receiver to the d300 (port on the front) and the trigger goes in your hand.

I had it set up last night exactly as you described, but didn't want to play properly, I'll have another go later.

where you able to get it working?

i just got a wireless remote from eBay for my d300 the receiver lights up when press the remote button but camera doesn't do any thing if i press the button on top of the receiver it works that way
