I dont like the lcd screen protector that comes with the D300. Maybe my nose is too big, but the protector sticks out from the screen too much for me.
Has anyone used the Giottos glass screen protector or can anyone recommend a good one?

I bought some surgical glass ones from HK.

Not Expensive and doesn't scratch.

Comes with two, one for top lcd one for the back.

Easily removable as well.

The ordinary glass is so cheap to replace and easy to fit... I dont bother... I can then see perfectly!

I replaced a Canon one and it was only about a tenner or so.

I have the Giottos one and it's excellent - expensive though - nearly £30 from Digital Depot.

Cheeky b****r

Thats the one I fancy, but 'tis a tad expensive!
I know I can keep replacing the Nikon cover, but i want to do away with them. Might go with PsiFox's idea and get the glass ones from HK, they seem pretty cheap too.

The Giotto one is now only £18 at digital depot for a D300 model. I use film from zagg.com on both screens on the 200 and 70s, which seems to work well against scratches without too much 'rainbow' when chimping, but when the new D300 is mine in a few weeks I will probably go for the giotto glass version.

Just had a look there, they are out of stock, but worth keeping an eye on.
Thanks for the info
