Nikon...? Give...?

Has been known! Those poxy little screw on caps for the PC socket and 10 pin socket on the D200 are so easily lost - a nice begging letter could get a couple of spares FoC.

Thanks for the heads up on where they can be stored, mine are just sitting in my camera bag, pretty sure I will lose them at some point.

thats exactly what happened to mine :(

I did just that earlier this year and received a couple of each FREE OF CHARGE.

Respect to Nikon is this day & age of 'grab what you can' :thumbs:

Amazing - I actually had to steal two LCD covers when I took my D2x bodies in for a clean after a particularly grisly trip to Malawi...

They got blown off the cameras (despite being tied on - note to self - bigger knots next time...) while I was stood in the doorway of a C-130 doing recce pix for the North-Face Ninjas that were out there with us...

Thats what I did to! :thumbs:

UPDATE from below.
Just received contact from Nikon and was able to purchase one of these for £5.38 inclusive of postage... should be with me on Tuesday. Not bad hey....

email i recieved;
I am sorry to hear that you have lost a part for your camera. You may be able to purchase the parts you need from the spare parts department. You can contact them at 0330 123 0930 ( option 2 ).

I know this is an oldy, but have now lost mine and only just realised that there is a space in the grip to hold it, dam!.

I used Nikon web site for accessories, but could not find one and the web site is so slow in loading the various pages.

Anyone know if these can still be obtained.

Rocket - that is a coincidence; I emailed Nikon spares last night about this. I'll let you know what they say.
