Hopefully this is a plea for help in the right section.
Bit of history below, apologies if a little long winded, but I wanted to get the sequence of events right.
I have a new D300, and existing D200 and have been taking some photos to do comparisons. Having attempted to load them onto my MS Vista laptop, it now crashes when I attempt to get into the Windows Picture Gallery. Things I hadn't done were rather stupid, like:
a) Formatted the memory card once in the D300
b) Updated my Nikon Capture NX and Adobe CS3 and Bridge with the latest updates.
I have since done both and can now at least upload my pic's via Bridge and view them through Bridge and open them in Capture NX and also CS3 for editing.
It's when attempting to read these very same RAW files taken via the D300, Windows Explorer stops working and closes within 10 seconds. I can view the D200 Raw files no problem. Anyone had any similar problems or any thoughts on something I should have done / need to do would be a big help.
I'll be 'offline' after tomorrow morning so please don't get upset if I don't answer between midday Saturday to end of Boxing Day.
Thanks in advance
Jas
