D3 Screen protector?

i tried a gitos [sp?] version of this and the first fell off in the kitbag the second i pressed to hard and cracked it :( i have since gone back to the original plastic cover

you don't need one - it has toughened glass!

I have the GGS on my D200 and I think they are well worth the money, I have had them on for a while now and they have not been marked as of yet, camera is always swinging against my jacket and Zipper.... the plastic cover of the D200 was mullered in a couple of weeks.

The GGS is still going strong... must have been on for a couple of months I would think.

Regards

Nigel

It's tempered glass. I've had mine a year and they've not got a scratch on them.

Same here.

What is more worrying is the last time I was in Florida I had the little talked about issue where I got a massive amount of fogging under the screen, rendering it unusable! The camera had been sitting with the sun directly on it for about an hour. Within a minute of directing the screen away from the sun it had gone but there was a moment of thinking :gag::help::bang:

Read about it in the past but it's the first time it's happened!

Sorry for going OT...

Had mine since they came out too and the screen still looks perfect. Wouldn't bother worrying about protectors.

Been using the GGS screen protector for over a year on my D3, in a word it is superb.

This is true, but I'd still hate to scratch it!

I use the self adhesive film from Fuji.
It's quite thick, you don't notice it's there and can be taken off and replaced if need be.
