D2H vs D2Hs vs D60?

Reading through the thread you said that one of the major issues you have is with the buffer.

If you go Fuji then you will have bigger problems than you have now. The S5 is horrendously slow from shot to shot, the S3 worse.

I missed that, Stu the S5 is the slowest camera I've ever owned when it comes to writing images to the card. I'd still part with the D300 before I sold the S5....

D2Hs - naturally! :)

I had a D2H a long time ago, and to be honest I often wish I still had it.

It was a cracking camera, so great A3 prints came from it. And yes, it's "only" 4mp, but it's a special;);) 4MP

Well yes its slow. But I have to make some sacrifices. I was going to sacrifice 10mp for four. but this way I get 6 and a camera that was designed for the purpose I'm most likley to use it for. (Don't really shoot any sport)

I like this choice because these cameras are around £250! The cheapest mentioned. If I don't like it I can sell it on.

AWP I like your point. However I've only owned my D60 for a year and I'm not a pro photographer. I'm a scientist the equipment I use tends to have words like Zeiss and Leica written on them! (they make very nice and unaffordable cameras!)

The last one I used cost a cool million, THey asked for a quote to get a part fixed. They came back with a price and told them there was a charge of £150 to reject the quote!

Oh I've got an Email back about the D300. Its as dodgy as they come!
