D200 PROBLEM?

Hi all, I would like to ask the assistance of any Nikon D200 user,s out there

as a user myself of the above camera, i have just (last night) noticed , what

appears to be an error message in the top control panel, it reads, SLOW REAR

and it has an icon at the side ,like a small lightning bolt?

I have read through the manual and can find nothing that can compare with

the above, has anyone any ideas, everything seems ok at the moment?

It is the flash being set rear sync. Hold the flash expo compensation button, second one under the flash and dial the aperture/rear button. You should see it alter.

Read the manual for flash settings to help you out more.

Edit to add.........It may be your front or rear dial that alters it, I have mine set as the rear being the command dial, hence I said the rear one.

Certainly not an error message, just slow rear sync flash.
