A - Normal. Usually with AF-S, but for hand held use in general.
B - Tripod. Mirror lock up, no AF assist.
C - Fast. Used for fast moving stuff, cars, planes etc. AF-C with other options.
I use the spreadsheet and have to say has completely changed my use of the D200. I was really struggling to take any decent shots when I moved to the 200 from my D50 but when I changed to the settings on the sheet I was able to capture some pretty decent shots particularly shooting sports and landscape.
I tend to use A or S rather than full manual but the settings do help, I dont really shoot in RAW though so did change the settings to just do JPEG although in time I hope to change that so I can really learn more about proper photography!
