d100 worth it?

Depends how much you are going to pay.

Secondhand D200s are about 400-450ish depending on condition. I'm about to put up two for sale, probably on ebay as my post count isn't high enough to advertise here.

I would hang out for the D200 personally. Especially if you can get one with a years extended warranty left like mine :D:D:D

are d100's still worth buying or should i wait and save a couple months and get a second hand d200? the idea would be to have the d100 as a backup body for when my d300 arrives been asked to do a couple of weddings.

cheers lawless

I had a D100 when it cost me a whopping £1,200 !!! Good little camera though it is, the much cheaper D70 was much better

If you can stretch to a D200, then that's a massive leap again - so buy a D200 is my advice

As above, a D70 would be more sensible.

The D100 was introduced in Feb 2002, whereas the D70 appeared in 2004. Technology moves fast in this game and the D100 is 6 year old technology now and I wouldn't bother with one as a backup personally.

I'd be looking, depending on budget, for a D200, D70s or D80.

based on the fact I shouldn't be advertising here, it's probably best if you PM me your email address i'll send you all of the details of it via email, along with some photos of the gear.
