Hi Need some advise have Nikon D300S don't do much high speed stuff, had 300s Number of years been very good no problems should I change to D500 whats the advantage will I see much different in quality etc
 
What doesn't the D300s do for you?
 
Nothing I just wondering if D500 would be any improvement

And better high ISO. But if you don't crop too hard or enlarge too much, aren't shooting in dim light, and the D300 is fast enough to get the shots you want...
 
The 300s is still a very capable camera . Upgrading your body might lead to having to upgrade lenses to as newer sensors often need better resolution glass
