I have an interest in cycling going back nearly forty years, and during that time I have enjoyed leisure, club and competitve cycling. I have never been drawn into the "arms race" of technology though, but have always enjoyed seeing the advances in equipment, which allows riders to go faster.
I came across this link on a cycling forum, and I know that some people here take the sport seriously, so I have decided to post this link to possibly the fastest uphill bike in the World - assuming of course that the rider can get it to perform.

Nice photography as well.

210psi in the tyres holy moly

I never, ever put that much in mine, but I once rode my time trial bike to work (because I had an event in the evening), and I had about 180psi in and the front tyre blew as I was riding to the event in the evening, which was rather scary, as it sounded like a shotgun going off. It nearly put me in a ditch as well. The tyres (tubulars) I was riding were Wolber record piste - they sounded great - when you had air in them:D

still on tarmac though. its not an uphill bike unless it can handle a wet rooty climb interlaced with moss covered rock.

plus, wheres its granny ring.

seriously though the sustainted pace those pro roadies climb some serious gradients at is mind boggling.

@neil_g sometimes watching the Tour when they do the real big mountain days I am just blown away as well, how then can suddenly sprint up the steepest gradients. massive legs !!!!

This is my current winter training hack, I am working away in Erskine but live in Huddersfield with the wife.

I took an old Giant XTC4.5 and converted it to a winter cycle track blaster.
Its now got a nice Selle Italia saddle on it, a Garmin EDGE 500, a hugely stupid LED light from 7 days shop and its running some nutrak sliks.
