Guessing you are meaning digitaly instead of prints and a glue stick, so what software, if any do you have already? It's certainly possible, and is reasonably easy to get good results with software that can use different layers.

It is even possible to paste in sections in MS paint, but the results are not worth it for anything serious. It depends on how good a job you want to do, what it is for and how much time you want to spend learning.... Though learning is definately worth while.

If you want a good FREE editting package, Gimp gets quite good reviews

im using photoshop cs5 its on a friends computer but he is at work while i use it so cant really ask him for advice

i would like good results and dont mind spending alot of time to get them im also prepared to spend as long as it takes to learn.

i would like to get good at editing and i guess the hours spent learning is shown in the results

thanks for the reply

its just taken me 3hrs to remove all the colour from a picture then get the colour back on my lad lol bet you guyts can doit in alot less time

Open both images and use the move tool to copy one into the other and position it where you want it. Then add a layer mask and mask out the bits you don't want from the top image.

thanks for reply

Matty have a look for PS tutorials on youtube, i've learned lots (if not everything) from watching tuts and playing around.

Also check out here for tuts, brushes , actions etc;
http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/

Then when your feeling confident check out this site;
http://www.digitalartsonline.co.uk/tutorials/index.cfm

See if you can get yourself your own PP software if you dont get alot of practice at your friends house. I here older versions of CS* can still be had for a bargain.
