Having decided to get a camera from them - i also decided to get it on finance.

So i filled in all the details etc and now i've got waiting for finance signature in my account area.

Does this mean the finance was agreed and they just need me to send the form back, or am i sending back the form to try and get finance?

If you applied out of business hours then the computer that makes the decision on the finance was probably offline and a decision will be made when it opens again tomorrow or if during office hours I would say they are waiting for you to send the forms back signed, after you get them obviously :)

I think that means they will review your account then not/grant finance.
 
i applied at about 11am today - it's just weird for them to send out forms for me to sign without saying if the finance is agreed etc.
 
Did you not get a decision on the screen at the time?
 
Not really, if they are sending out forms to sign, you probably have a good chance of getting the finance.

Thats what i can't understand - surly they should tell me it's agreed and they just need me to sign, otherwise i would look elsewhere?
 
Did you fill out the finance forms online? answer all the personal questions etc?
 
yeah filled in all the questions about bank details personal questions too etc.
 
sounds to me like it has gone through fine and they are sending the forms for you to sign

i thought that - was just hoping someone might work for Currys or gone though similar.
As i'd like to be sure thats the camera i'm getting so i can get looking for another lens and flash.

Once accepted (subject to status), we'll send you a copy of the application form to sign and post to us. We'll dispatch your order as soon as we've received your signed form.

I used to work in currys and you should have gone in store to get it, trust me, the managers push the staff to get every finance sale possible by getting them to throw in free extras such as bags and memory cards and big discounts on lens' and such. That is if you, the customer, is persistent enough!:D

true - it was an impulse buy really :)

was looking to go second hand but stumbled upon currys website.

Bang! before i knew it, ordered. :)
