Anyone care to share their favorite concoction,it's the one thing I've never given a proper go at .

Mmmm lamb curry. Just had one tonight with a nice cold Rekordderlig strawberry n lime cider.

Partial to a Chicken Jalfrezi myself when staying local but when at a new Indian will always try something different.

Chicken or prawn Jalfrezi or Madras.
Goat meat with Dunn's River Curry Powder.

Chicken Tikka Chana Daal ( with chickpeas )

Chicken Tikka Saag ( with spinach )

Chicken Tikka Gulshan ( with green beans )

Thing maybe I have a theme going here LOL. I also like Lamb in a curry but it has to be done well or the lamb can be tough.

I also like Keema rogan Josh ( minced lamb ) or a Chicken Balti with a boiled egg in it, yummy.

another vote for Tikka Saag, also Prawns...though a restaurant bought curry is far nicer than a shp bought one, tesco dont make good ones.

thai red or green chicken........

Lamb sagwala, cooked madras hot, with a side bowl of chopped green chillis and coriander..... lurvely :)

I do cook a basterdised version of a Goan Vindaloo, but not so spicy (i.e. without that concentrated speice taste) and with loads of yoghurt to make chicken kebabs - good for the bbq

lamb if it was up to me, but as the wife won't eat it, it has to be beef.....cut into very thin strips though :)

Mmmm
Chicken Madras....nice cold beer alongside..
Yummy :)

Indian food is the only cuisine where meat is irrelevant. Just order the vegetarian options they are cheaper, tastier and less filling allowing more room for beer.

I love curry but this is a good point that I've never thought about! Still get the taste and more room for ale :-)

My new phrase when going for a curry will be:
"Eat paneer, more room for beer" :-)

strawberry n lime cider.
:gag: I feel quite queasy now :gag:

Curries - Any and all of them. Except fish.

I'm going through a Chicken Tikka Masala phase at the mo, I'm embarrassed to say. As bought from Sainsburys, their ready-made curries counter.

Chicken Rogan Josh, cooked to madras hot is my usual in our local indian, lush:thumbs:

I'm way too lazy to cook my own currie3s - besides, there's a very good (tasty and fast) delivery service from one of the curry houses not too far away, so we just choose and dial. My personal preferenve is for lamb curries but anything will do as long as it's not too hot. I like to enjoy the taste of the food, not to go for the hottest I can stand for bragging rights!

Ahhh see I love the hotter curries and love to brag about eating them too

Tonight Matthew (anyone called that?:) ), I shall be eating a pheasant jalfrezi.

Yummy.

Answer D - all of the above.

At Oggy towers we have the year round basic food groups like alcohol and chocolate then there are the seasonal ones. During BST we barbecue. During GMT when it is dark outside, we curry. Anyone in doubt about curry, get a Pat Chapman book. Fruit, meat, veg, nuts, pulses - all good for curry.
