There was a shop in South london (Walworth area) which had an old sign (tiled sign, I think0 which said "Allsed and Dunne".

The Local Chinese TakeAway is called the Wan King. :)

The BJ Scaffolding is actually the BJ Champion scaffolding company, even better!!

Dave Gorman has the pun street on his absolute radio show, I've been listening to his podcasts for the last 6 months. Love all the stupid names.

There was also a scaffolding firm in my home town who's slogan was "satisfaction with every erection"
 
There was a shop in Greenwich in the 80s that sold garden gnomes - it was called British Gnome Stores. BHS took exception to this and forced them to change it so it became the National Elf Service. :D
 
Think it was on the A19 near thirst, saw a car wash advertised as "the best hand job in town"....

There used to be a butcher round here called Morrow, with the slogan "Come to Morrow for today's meat"

meanwhile, a fencing company in my old hometown used have the tagline 'the erection specialists' on their vans, whilst down here we have a local 'man & van' rubbish removal and house clearance company called 'junk & disorderly'

Munters were based opposite our offices in Huntingdon. The have a new name now. I think they dry out flooded buildings and stuff like that.
