I am looking at buying remote triggers to use with flash so my husband and I can pool our canon and olympus flash units . I think I want the CTR-301, but, there also seems to be a CTR-301P. When would I want the pc sync port . Is it best to buy with this feature if I am looking to use older flashes. I have an Olymous T32 at the moment.

It makes sense to get the P version really, as it gives you the option to control a PC port flash also, even if you don't need it with your current setup. The two types are completely compatible BTW and can be mixed.
