CS6

Heard a rumour the other day but the person didn't know when....so was wandering if anyone knew?

6.0 September 2000
7.0 March 2002
CS October 2003
CS2 April 2005
CS3 April 2007
CS4 October 2008
CS5 April 2010
CS6 maybe April-July 2012
 
Thats technically not true, i have only just gone to cs5 from cs3 and that still updates ect ect
 
Yes they are, my 7d had a camera raw plug in downloaded straight from adobe and put it over the top ofthe old one, my brother also has a mega old photoshop which my 7d raw files runs on. It is a bit dodgy though. Anyway no doubt il b after cs6 haha got to keep up, just build a beast of a pc so need to test its skills :-)
 
You can always use DNG converter - which is free and always updated - so you can convert any RAW file to DNG - then that will open with Photoshop (can't remember how old that goes back)

Right lets clear up any confusion, the latest update for CS3 ACR (camera raw) is 4.6 released on 10/10/2008, the latest update for CS5 is 6.5 released on 9/28/2011 this is not compatable with CS3.
 
Yep. ACR 6.5 will not work in CS3 regardless of what camera you have.

I guess this is why Adobe DNG converter is the only workaround for new RAWs on old versions of Ps.
 
In that case i stand corrected, i was confused at what you were getting at lol sorry. I dont think i will be updating my 7d anytime soon anyway........
