Cs5 info needed please

Been looking at buying Cs5 as it seem to be the most mainline software at the moment but i currently use Macromedia Fireworks 8

WHAT I WANT TO KNOW IS??

is it gonna be a big step up never used Cs5 before but my fireworks is getting a bit dated now i bought it when i was at college in 2006 and have plenty of addons for it most were free

Is there many place to get free add-ons for cs5

I've tried to use the free ones like gimp and paint.net but just canny get my head round them and keep going back to old faithful.

So any thought's on this matter would be great

Hi. I don't use Fireworks although I have CS5. If dreamweaver 8 and the new CS5 version is anything to go by there have been some leaps forward. I'd have thought that generating valid xhtml code might be one advantage. Its not the recommended design route to slice your design up into a table, though. Might be worth an explore of Adobe's site to look for tutorials on Fireworks.
