Ahhh sorry, haha. May as well delete this thread then

On youtube they are saying its not real etc and it cannot be done (content aware - removing object) but its already here. InPaint has been doing it for ages and spookily enough on their site it says Photoshop version coming soon... Hmmm :suspect:

InPaint

I did put this on another thread but in case you missed it

I saw some of the other content aware stuff and a few more new things is CS5, a couple of months ago, more in depth than that video, Clicky Linky and Clicky Linky for content aware reshuffle amazing stuff

Dave

That content aware seems amazing. Will save me fair few hours of my time!

As I saw pointed out elsewhere - is this going to make people removing copyright watermarks really easy?

Yup, that's the scary thing. Anyone with a cracked copy of photoshop can steal photos even easier great

It also goes hand in hand with the orphan works part of the digital economy bill, how easy will it be to create an orphan work?

Does anyone know how to get the rule of thirds grid to appear when cropping? Looks very handy!

I'm sure someone said that about the clone tool

Yeah, the clone tool takes time and skill though... Hopefully someone will come up with a better way of protecting images online, so that we can stop using watermarks.

I must admit though that it is a very impressive feature, especially the desert bit in the video.

I believe the release date has been brought forward to tomorrow?

Janet
