CS5 Comatibility

I thinking of buying a new laptop my question is will Photoshop CS5 run with Windows 8, as most seem to come with that these days?

I'm presently running Windows 7 and it works just fine, just fancied a new Laptop with a faster processor

Looking on the Adobe site I found the quote;

CS5 and CS6 run fine on Windows 8, but are not optimized for touch screen. (It’s something that’s on our radar)

and I think the person saying it works for Adobe. Jeffrey Tranberry Senior Product Manager, Chief Customer Advocate - Adobe Digital Imaging. 12 year veteran on the Adobe Photoshop Product Development Team.
