CS4 Bridge is reporting that the exposure mode is "Auto", regardless of what the actual mode is i.e. I took some RAW shots in AV, but Bridge insisted that they were taken in Auto.

Opening the images in Photoshop displays the correct exposure mode.

Any ideas of what may be causing this?

Thanks,

Chris

If you use 'File Info' in Bridge, it should give you the correct details under the tab 'Camera Data'.

Thanks Mark, that does work, it's the same format as when viewing the data in PS.

Strange that it just reports the incorrect data on the metadata screen.

I went to cross reference Bridge, PS & LR before I posted! :D

There can often be a difference in how Adobe handles manufacturer's info as opposed to true Exif, but in this case I think that it's probably best to just call it a programmer's 'feature'!

I expect Adobe would blame Canon's implementation of the exif standard.

Thanks for clearing that one up.

Chris
