Hi, I use CS4 and try to correct colour with a colour sampler point within curves now as I understand to get the point say for mid-tones to show in the RGB channels in curves you hold down the Ctrl-Shift and click, problem is when I hold the pointer over the sample point and hold Ctrl-Shift the pointer changes from Colour picker to move tool so unable to place the selection throughout RGB
Thanks
Russ

To correct colour you just use the black/grey/white samper and click on an appropriate part of the image (no shift or control click required)

Sorry maybe I put the question wrong but if you want to change the colour values in individual RGB channels and want a sample point in the same place on each one you have to hold Ctrl-Shift then click this is supposed to put the point on each channel in the same place, ie if you have curves open with RGB selected and place a point for midtones it should show on all channels with one click.
Hope this explains better.
Thanks
Russ

I see what you mean :)
It's Shift/ALT and click to add a sample.
