CS4 and camera Raw 5.3 for 5Dmk2

Hi all

Not the most computer literate person, I have downloaded the 5.3 plugin zip and extracted the 8bi file into the file formats folder. However I'm still getting the "cannot complete your request because this is not the right kind of document" message

Sorry if I'm being a numpty... what am I doing wrong ?

I would have thought it was a self extracting file that just needs to 'run' so that all the files are placed in the correct folders?

Also, some of those plug ins were updates and needed the previous versions too so that they would work.

First off try downloading the latest version for CS4 which is 5.7, then did you remove the original plug-in before putting the newer version in?

I did remove the original first, I'll try 5.7 later cheers

5.7 has cured it, so much easier for people like me when it come with a setup.exe
