Yes
Quick question for all you crumpler bag owners, I have a crumpler what ever cant remember the name but its big and expensive. Thing is the cat sat and then **** on it and now its soaked in and smells, dispite having cleaned it throughly...

Has any one washed theirs (sans-cameras)?

what have you got to lose! I wouldn't put it on a super fast spin though

:agree: you aren;t goign to use it in the current condition so give it a go. Put very mild detergent in like baby detergent or woolite (don't know if you have that over there can't remember if I ever bought any). I would rinse twice then roll it between two fluffy towels instead of spinning, then hang to dry.

I would also stuff it with newspaper like material to help get moisture out of middle and keep the shape.

For breathable waterproof fabrics you should always use a non-bio detergent and low temperature wash under 40°c so this should also be ok for the bag, the hardest thing will be drying it.

nope
they don't make one big enough for a washing machine! :nono:

thinking about it, as above, perhaps use something like nikwax's tech wash which will maintain breathability

May also be worth going to your local camping shop (millets/blacks) after to buy some waterproofing spray, just to make sure the washing didnt ruin that.

i made a bubble bath with Stardrops and washed it with a sponge
